The material and technical base and information resources of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics make it possible to provide high-quality training and graduation of specialists in bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs. Equipping the material and technical base with modern equipment creates comfort and convenience for students and teaching staff. There are personal computers for teaching staff of the department with the ability to access the Internet. A personal web page is provided for each student and member of the department. Students have the opportunity to instantly access cases and knowledge control, communicate directly in real time with the teacher via the global Internet or the internal network of the university.
Students have the opportunity to carry out distance learning with the help of AIS "Platonus". The system of messages and assignment of tasks allows you to conduct internal correspondence and monitor the completion of tasks, participate in a university-wide chat, forum, and teleconference.
The availability of an electronic catalog in the library, free access to electronic versions of the educational fund and global information networks ensure a high level of the educational process. Information resources and a local information network guarantee the efficiency of interaction between both students and trainees. The high-quality information service provides opportunities for independent educational and research work of students.
The department has good material and technical equipment, the department has a "Center for Polish Language and Culture" and a "Laboratory for Intercultural Communication and Applied Linguistics". All classrooms are used as educational ones, at the same time events are held in them (Olympiads, scientific conferences, seminars for teachers and school teachers with the invitation of foreign and domestic scientists), scientific research is carried out with the involvement of students, undergraduates and doctoral students. The department has a Center for Polish Language and Culture.
In the mixed learning mode, the teachers of the department conduct classes on the Microsoft Teams and Zoom platform. Google Forms and Socrative programs are used to monitor the assessment of students' knowledge.
