Dosym Baydrahmanov defended his candidate dissertation in Pedagogical Sciences on December 9, 2010, at the combined dissertation council JD-14.50.09 of the Eurasian Humanities Institute. From April to September 2009, he completed academic training under the Presidential "Bolashak" program at University College London (United Kingdom). In the 2009-2010 academic year, he obtained a Master's degree in "Educational Leadership and Management" from the University of Nottingham (United Kingdom). He was a recipient of the State Scholarship for Young Scientists for 2008-2010.
In 2017, he was awarded the title of "Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan." In the same year, he received the "Best University Teacher" grant. In May and June 2018, he completed professional development courses at Lomonosov Moscow State University. From September 2023 to September 2024, he participated in a scientific internship at Lancaster University (United Kingdom) under the "500 Scholars" program ("Bolashak").
