
Research Visit to the Universities of Warsaw and Amsterdam

Acting Professor of the Department of Kazakh Linguistics at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Candidate of Philological Sciences M.K. Akhmetova paid a research visit to the Republic of Poland and the Kingdom of the Netherlands from May 20 to 31.
During the visit, she exchanged academic experience with Professor Agata Bareja-Starzyńska, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies at the University of Warsaw, Dr. Jan Rogala, Dr. Kamila Stanek, and other Turkologists. M.K. Akhmetova also participated in the “11th Turkological Conference” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the 1926 Baku Turkological Congress.
At the University of Amsterdam, a meeting was held with Professor László Marácz and Anna Peeters, during which the results of the research project “Linguistic Manifestations of Ethnocultural Consciousness of Kazakh Youth” were discussed. The participants exchanged scholarly views on linguistic consciousness, ethnocultural code, and the significance of associative studies in contemporary psycholinguistics.
The project findings were presented and academically validated within the international scholarly community, and prospects for future scientific cooperation were also discussed
