A scientific seminar on the theme «Methodology of Scientific Research»

On May 28,  2026 ye. a scientific seminar titled «Semiotic Analysis in Literary Studies» was held at ENU with in the framework of the course «Methodology of Scientific Research». The seminar was conducted by Doctor of Philology, Professor, teacher-researcher Zh. A. Aimukhambet. During the seminar, the evolution of the concept of semiotics – from its historical origins to its modern transformations – was discussed. The scholar shared valuable experience regarding the role of semiotic analysis in literary studies and its application in the works of young researchers. Doctoral and master’s students of the Department of Kazakh Literature who were interested in the topic took part in the event.
